Basic Setup

1. Install the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Open a Google Sheet with a header row.
3. Use the Place Card Designer for Google Sheets menu to open the sidebar.
4. Preview your rows.
5. Click Open In Place Card Maker to continue editing on PlaceCard.us.

Common Issues

The sidebar opens but shows no usable rows

Make sure:

• the active tab is the correct sheet
• row 1 contains headers
• the sheet contains visible non-empty rows

The add-on opens the website but no rows appear

Make sure:

• your browser allows the new tab to open
• the import flow reaches the bridge page on placecard.us
• session storage is not blocked by browser privacy extensions

Permissions look too broad

The add-on is designed to request only:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly
