How to Create Product Price Tags with Barcodes - Free Template Guide

Price tags often need to be small, dense with info, and scannable.

1. Prepare Data

Columns needed:

• Product Name (e.g., "Silk Scarf")
• Price (e.g., "$25.00")
• SKU (e.g., "SCARF-001") - for the barcode
• Variant (Optional: "Red", "Small")

2. Choose Template

Retail tags come in various shapes.

• Specialty Shapes: Jewelry barbells, rattails (requires specialized thermal printers).
• Standard: Rectangles (e.g., 1" x 2") printed on standard sheets.
• Cardstock: If printing on cardstock to cut later, define a custom grid with "guides" as cut lines.

3. Design Layout
